Truth In Media is a media company founded by award-winning journalist Ben Swann. The platform has served as the source for uninfluenced, reliable and fearless news.
As head of digital, I:
- developed content strategy for relaunch and rebranding of BenSwann.com as TruthInMedia.com, including a voice document to determine what’s on brand and off brand and editorial guidelines for onboarding new talent;
- produced distinctive business logic and digital strategy documentation to ensure team alignment and provide clarity to our content partners and sponsors/advertisers of what makes our content superior and effective;
- edited scripts for Ben Swann’s “Reality Check” segments and publishing the finished products to TruthInMedia.com;
- project managed sponsorship and advertising campaigns including a sponsored article in partnership with Vice and a multi-tiered branding campaign for WGN America’s new show “The Outsiders”;
- secured content partners to fund video and/or written content projects for the Truth In Media project, closing five-figure funding partnerships;
- collaborated on content production, including video and written content for Truth In Media projects;
- and crafted marketing materials for campaigns including social media and email when needed.
